It’s been more than 1 and 1/2 years now…there is no end to this Covid19 pandemic. It is affecting people’s life in every aspects. To say that the novel pandemic has changed the world would be an understatement. Since the time the virus emerged, it’s upended day-to-day lives across the globe. The covid 19 has changed our lifestyle on how we live and work.
MarketGenics conducted a new survey which reveals that the pandemic has also changed how Indians approach their life in ways both positive and negative.
MarketGenics India Pvt Ltd decided to shoot a question amongst general public using 2 methodologies.
1) Question was posted on social media pages
2) CATI method was applied, keeping a fair representation on Gender.
Overall we have achieved a sample of 450, with no constraint to boundaries.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of this survey was to find out how people are coping with the covid pandemic situation. While in the first wave, people gradually adopted to the new Normal with a right frame of mind, the second way turned out to be more severe, in terms of the disease threat and fatality. Under such a situation, we want to find out how people are coping with it.

OPTION B: Damage Control
You have accepted the uncertainty and trying to cope with it. You have faced the threat and don’t want to face it.
OPTION C: Burnout
Lack of sleep, constant worry is affecting your health. You are not in a good frame of mind and constantly stressed.
POLL & SURVEY RESULTS
Around 28% of our respondents had faced the Covid crisis at home front, either family members were affected or few of their loved ones expired. As such, most of them opted for the damage control option, where they are trying to cope with the situation as damage had already been done.
